Job summary

Millennium Space Systems, a Boeing company, is seeking an Engineering IPT Lead within the Flight & Controls group. The role requires leading a cross-functional engineering team to deliver qualified satellite subsystems on time and on budget, coordinating with program management, production, and customers.

You will manage scope, schedules, and cost, while applying Earned Value Management, risk tracking, and milestone-driven execution across multiple engineering domains including Bus, Payloads,

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related field with 9+ years of related experience.
• 3+ years of program execution and/or technical leadership.
• Familiarity with satellite analysis, design, test, or operation.
• Experience leading engineering development teams.
• Expertise in CAM fundamentals including scope definition, cost/schedule management, and risk tracking.
• Ability to obtain U.S. Citizenship and TS/SCI clearance; final TS/SCI clearance required post-start.

Responsibilities

• Drive team execution and manage upcoming milestones.
• Identify risks early and participate in risk processes.
• Resolve blockers and coordinate with technical leads to manage scope, costs, schedules, and EAC.
• Provide Earned Value Management inputs and variance analysis.
• Track Discrepancy Reports and ensure closure with engineering teams.
• Status key subsystem deliverables to program management and stakeholders.
