Job summary

Blue Origin in Seattle is seeking a seasoned EGSE engineer to design, develop, and integrate EGSE hardware and software for satellite assembly, integration, and test across all production phases. You will work with systems, avionics, RF, payload, and flight software teams, define requirements, maintain calibration, and drive test readiness reviews while hands-on on the production floor.

This role demands strong problem-solving, system-level thinking, and collaboration in a fast-paced aerospace

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or related technical field.
• 8+ years of experience in EGSE design, development and integration for aerospace or satellite systems.
• Experience designing and integrating RF test systems including signal generators, spectrum analyzers, vector network analyzers, channel emulators, and power meters.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and integrate EGSE hardware and software for satellite production.
• Define EGSE architecture and interface requirements with cross-functional teams.
• Develop and maintain automated test sequences and scripts for high-volume satellite production.
• Execute RF test campaigns and characterize beam steering, EIRP, gain patterns, and link performance.
• Maintain configuration control and calibration status across EGSE assets.
• Author test procedures and test readiness reviews.
• Drive closure on test anomalies and coordinate corrective actions.
