Job summary

Blue Origin seeks an experienced Electrical Test Lead to drive avionics testing and verification for the TeraWave satellite system. You'll own test campaigns from bench to flight, coordinating with systems, production, and design teams to ensure repeatable, high-throughput testing across multiple vehicles.

The role requires hands-on experience with RF test equipment, data acquisition, and GSE development, plus leadership under tight schedules to deliver flight-ready hardware.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in electrical or aerospace engineering or related field.
• 7+ years in electrical test, avionics integration, or vehicle electrical systems verification.
• Experience leading electrical test campaigns with flight hardware.
• Hands-on with electrical test equipment (power supplies, oscilloscopes, meters, signal generators, DAQ).
• RF test experience (signal generators, spectrum analyzers, attenuators).
• Experience building out electrical ground support equipment.
• Ability to lead cross-disciplinary teams under schedule pressure.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain avionics electrical test hardware and verification matrices.
• Derive electrical test requirements from system specs and safety requirements.
• Design avionics test equipment to meet manufacturing rate.
• Coordinate with Systems, Production, and Design Engineers on interface test requirements.
• Own test procedure development through qualification and acceptance.
• Lead bench, vehicle, and pre-launch electrical test campaigns.
• Lead anomaly investigations and root-cause analysis.
• Collaborate with manufacturing early in design to integrate test infrastructures.
• Identify and drive test automation and data acquisition.
• Design electrical test interfaces for producibility and GSE connectors.
• Drive production mindset; track unit-to-unit test time and yield.
