The opportunity

As a Manager in Application Systems Engineering, you will define user and customer requirements, focusing on user interface development across platforms, and engineer software components and services for seamless system communication.

Your Key Responsibilities

• Manage and deliver high-quality processes, solutions, or projects, focusing on quality, risk management, and continuous improvement.
• Research and benchmark best practices, manage professional employees, and oversee performance objectives.
• Ensure billability through chargeable work to external clients.
• Lead workstream delivery with strategic oversight.
• Manage project status and oversee deliverables.
• Travel as required by client engagements.
• Participate in client sessions and lead workstreams from planning to execution.
• Identify additional service opportunities to drive sales.
• Lead RFP responses and manage engagement economics.
• Execute resource planning within budget.

Skills And Attributes For Success

• Ability to lead and deliver SAP projects or workstreams.

To qualify for the role, you must have

• A 4-year bachelor’s degree.
• 4-6 years relevant SAP experience.
• Design and implement SAP integration solutions using middleware technologies (SAP PI/PO, SAP CPI, SAP BTP).
• Strong knowledge of SAP modules (S/4HANA, ECC) and integration technologies.
• Hands-on experience with SAP PI/PO, SAP LT, SAP ABAP, EDI.
• Experience with APIs, web services, data transformation tools.
• Develop integration architecture ensuring data consistency and integrity.
• Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP).
• Knowledge of Agile and DevOps practices.
• Understanding of database management and data modeling.
• Experience with SAP integration architecture and design.
• Experience with various EDI/non-EDI standards and mapping requirements.
• Familiarity with PI/PO adapters (IDoc, Mail, File, SFTP, etc.).
• Knowledge of Cloud Integration, SAP API Management.
• Experience interfacing with SAP modules like S4 HANA, ECC, CRM, etc.
• Strong communication, presentation, and technical writing skills.
• Willingness to travel (~60%).

Ideally, you’ll also have

• Prior consulting experience.
• SAP certifications.
• Experience with full-cycle implementations of core modules.
