Job summary

Peraton seeks an SAP S/4HANA Interface Developer to lead a Greenfield transition for the CDC, migrating from SAP CRM to a scalable S/4HANA Customer Management solution with Fiori UX.

Responsibilities include S/4HANA development, legacy code migration, EDI (IDOCS) interfaces, SOAP/REST integrations, and BizTalk orchestration, plus RBAC and RBAC in Fiori Launchpad and rigorous documentation.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree and 5 years of experience
• Minimum 5 years of hands-on SAP S/4HANA Greenfield experience
• 5+ years of total S/4HANA experience
• Proven experience with EDI (IDOCS)
• Hands-on integration experience with SOAP, REST, and BizTalk
• Deep understanding of Greenfield vs. Brownfield development strategies
• Must be a US Citizen or Green Card Holder
• Must be able to obtain and maintain the required agency clearance

Responsibilities

• S/4HANA Development & Greenfield Migration: transition custom SAP CRM logic into the S/4HANA CM framework
• Code Optimization: re-architect legacy code for S/4HANA compatibility
• Full Lifecycle Support: conduct impact analysis, unit testing, and deployment support
• Interface Management: design and maintain interfaces using EDI (IDOCS)
• Modern Connectivity: develop integrations with SOAP and REST web services
• Middleware Orchestration: ensure SAP connectivity with BizTalk across systems
• Fiori Enablement & UX: deploy SAP Fiori apps and configure Fiori Spaces, Pages, Catalogs
• Security Collaboration: implement RBAC within the Fiori Launchpad
• Governance & Quality Assurance: apply Change/Release/Configuration Management
• Documentation: maintain technical docs to mitigate migration risks
