Job summary

Peraton seeks an experienced SAP S/4HANA/ABAP Developer (Brownfield/Greenfield) to support a CDC modernization project. You will help deliver a stable, scalable SAP S/4HANA Customer Management solution during migration from SAP CRM, focusing on Brownfield migrations, custom development, and complex middleware integrations with BizTalk.

The role covers leading development, code remediation, EDI IDocs, SOAP/REST integrations, Fiori enablement, and governance within a federal framework. U.S.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree with 5 years of relevant SAP experience, or 9 years with High School diploma.
• Minimum 5 years of direct S/4HANA experience.
• At least 5 years of hands-on SAP Brownfield migration experience.
• Proven experience with EDI (IDocs), SOAP and REST integrations, and BizTalk connections.
• Understanding of both Greenfield and Brownfield development strategies.
• Must be a US Citizen or Green Card holder and able to obtain agency clearance.

Responsibilities

• Lead Brownfield development to transition custom SAP CRM code to SAP S/4HANA Customer Management (CM).
• Code remediation to optimize legacy code for S/4HANA performance.
• Execute Brownfield migration workstreams ensuring system stability during transition.
• Architect interfaces using IDocs for asynchronous data exchange.
• Implement and manage SOAP/REST integrations and BizTalk connections.
• Deploy SAP Fiori applications and configure Fiori Spaces, Pages, and Catalogs.
• Apply Change/Release/Configuration Management within a federal framework.
• Produce thorough technical documentation to mitigate migration risk.
