Job summary

Peraton is seeking an SAP S/4HANA Interface Developer for a Greenfield migration to modernize CDC’s Customer Management (CM) solution. You will lead the transition from SAP CRM to S/4HANA CM, optimize legacy code, and ensure robust interfaces (EDI/IDOCS) and modern connectivity via SOAP/REST.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree and 5 years of experience.
• Minimum 5 years of hands-on SAP S/4HANA Greenfield experience.
• 5+ years of total S/4HANA experience.
• Proven experience with EDI (IDOCS).
• Hands-on integration experience with SOAP, REST, and BizTalk.
• Deep understanding of Greenfield vs. Brownfield development strategies.
• Must be a US Citizen or Green Card Holder.
• Must be able to obtain and maintain the required agency clearance.
• Prior support for the CDC or other Federal Government programs.
• Active CDC Clearance is a significant plus.
• Experience working in highly regulated public-sector environments.

Responsibilities

• S/4HANA Development & Greenfield Migration: transition custom SAP CRM logic to CM.
• Code Optimization: re-architect legacy code for S/4HANA compatibility.
• Full Lifecycle Support: impact analysis, unit testing, deployment support.
• Interface Management: design and maintain interfaces using EDI (IDOCS).
• Modern Connectivity: develop integrations via SOAP and REST web services.
• Middleware Orchestration: SAP connectivity with BizTalk across systems.
• UI Deployment: enable and deploy SAP Fiori applications.
• UX Configuration: design Fiori Spaces, Pages, Catalogs.
• RBAC implementation within Fiori Launchpad.
• Governance & QA: follow change/release/configuration management.
• Documentation: maintain rigorous migration docs.
