Compensation Range: $100,600-$135,000

Compensation may vary based on applicant's work experience, education level, skill set, and/or location.

Job Purpose

Responsible for the planning, budgeting, documenting, and oversight of all aspects of Business Application programs, including ERP, throughout the project life cycle. The position leads the design, testing, planning, budgeting, and implementation of complex projects affecting many employees. The Project Manager works closely with senior management to ensure project scope and schedule adherence, and coordinates with other departments for support. The focus is on meeting project commitments.

It is imperative to drive consistency in system implementation and best practices, understanding LEAN methodologies. The role involves working across all business lines, requiring strong communication skills, relationship-building, and a focus on both Business and MIS resources, processes, and deliverables.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Collaborate with IT leadership and ERP / Business Application Managers to realize our enterprise application roadmap.
• Develop project plans and objectives, involving relevant stakeholders and ensuring technical feasibility.
• Lead the development and implementation of coordinated plans to meet organizational goals.
• Coordinate internal resources and third-party vendors for seamless project execution.
• Ensure projects are delivered on time, within scope, and within budget.
• Establish realistic timelines and goals for project deliverables.
• Demonstrate collaboration skills to define solutions, resolve conflicts, and build partnerships.
• Work with Organizational Change Management to drive change and ensure project success, addressing obstacles and stakeholder priorities.
• Develop and maintain detailed project budgets.
• Follow standard project management methodologies to manage scope, schedule, and costs changes.
• Measure project performance using appropriate tools and techniques.
• Manage project status, risks, and issues with escalation mechanisms.
• Proactively develop strategies to mitigate project risks.
• Establish and cultivate relationships inside and outside EnerSys.
• Conduct follow-up meetings to improve project management processes and tools.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field.
• 10+ years of experience in SAP S/4 and/or SAP ECC across configuration, implementation, and project management.
• Minimum of 2-3 end-to-end SAP S/4 HANA implementations in a manufacturing organization.
• Strong IT application project management skills; PMI or equivalent certification preferred.
• Solid analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to evaluate IT and business challenges broadly.
• Experience in LEAN processes is strongly preferred.
• Experience in large, complex, fast-paced organizations.

Computer / Technical Skills

• Experience with project management software like MS Project, Jira, and Smartsheet.
• Understanding of end-to-end business process requirements.
• 5-6 years of functional process, design, and configuration experience in SAP modules such as SD, MM, EWM, PP, FICO.
• Understanding of SAP Activate methodology.
• Proficiency in MS Office, especially Excel and PowerPoint.

Preferred Qualifications

• PMP or Prince2 certification.
• Experience with other project management tools.
• Experience in implementing Data and Analytics platforms.

Travel Required: Moderate to medium during core project phases.
