Job summary

SmartRecruiters, Inc. seeks an on-site SAP Business Analyst with SAP S/4HANA experience to support a government client’s Retail modules at Fort Lee, VA.

You will work as a functional SME, collaborating with business users to understand needs and enable migrations to SAP S/4HANA in a retail environment. The role emphasizes end-user training, testing, documentation, and coordination with IT and other departments.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or related field (or equivalent experience).
• 3–7 years of experience in SAP Basis or Systems Engineering roles.
• Hands-on experience with SAP S/4HANA, preferably within a retail environment.
• Strong understanding of retail operations and processes.
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with business users to understand their needs and provide effective solutions.
• Troubleshoot and resolve SAP-related issues, ensuring minimal disruption to business operations.
• Conduct system testing and validation for enhancements, upgrades, and patches.
• Develop and maintain documentation, including user manuals and training materials.
• Assist in training end-users on SAP functionalities and best practices.
• Work closely with IT and other departments to coordinate system improvements and integrations.
