Job summary

Ahold Delhaize USA is seeking an Analyst IV, Store Operations/SAP Solutions to bridge store operations and IT, optimizing SAP-driven workflows across S/4 IS-Retail, CAR, and POS. You will translate business needs into functional specifications, support UAT, and drive improvements to inventory, receiving, and in-store processes.

The role requires 5+ years in retail analytics, SAP implementation experience, and strong data analysis.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in a related field.
• Minimum 5 years of experience as a Business/Systems Analyst supporting retail store operations.
• Minimum 1 full-cycle SAP implementation (requirements through go-live).
• Experience with pharmacy script fulfillment and store-level transactions.
• Liaison between business stakeholders and engineering teams to translate requirements into specs.
• Working knowledge of SAP S/4HANA IS-Retail and SAP CAR.
• Familiarity with POS/ECOM integration and in-store operations.
• Experience coordinating UAT processes.

Responsibilities

• Serve as primary liaison between Store Operations and engineering teams for SAP S/4 IS-Retail, POS, ECOM, and SAP CAR; translate requirements into functional specs.
• Document current-state processes and desired outcomes with DC/DSD stakeholders to ensure inventory continuity.
• Coordinate and validate UAT efforts across POS, ECOM, SAP CAR, and S/4 IS-Retail platforms.
• Analyze data and transaction flow discrepancies between SAP CAR, POS, and Inventory Management; define root causes and resolutions.
• Identify process improvement opportunities in inventory, receiving, and POS/ECOM workflows; drive adoption and reduce shrink or costs.
• Develop and maintain business-facing documentation for store systems (POS, Handhelds, receiving).
• Support store operations and field teams on new functionality, translating technical changes into guidance.
