Job summary

Amaris Consulting is seeking 2 Senior Project Managers to lead SAP S/4HANA implementation and transformation projects for a global organization in the United States. You will drive complex, cross-functional initiatives from planning through go-live, partnering with business leaders, IT, SAP specialists, and external partners.

This on-site role requires 5+ years of SAP project experience, strong stakeholder management, and the ability to lead teams in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience as a Senior Project Manager in SAP-related projects.
• Strong experience with SAP S/4HANA implementations, migrations, or transformation programs.
• Fluent English, both written and spoken.
• Must be based in the United States or able to work legally in the US.

Responsibilities

• Lead SAP S/4HANA project activities, ensuring delivery against scope, schedule, and quality expectations.
• Define project plans, milestones, deliverables, dependencies, and resource requirements.
• Coordinate cross-functional teams across business, IT, SAP, and external consulting partners.
• Manage project governance, status reporting, steering committee materials, and decision tracking.
• Monitor project risks, issues, assumptions, and dependencies, and coordinate appropriate action plans.
• Track project progress, budgets, timelines, and key deliverables.
• Facilitate project meetings, workshops, and working sessions with business and technical stakeholders.
• Support requirements gathering, solution design reviews, testing, training, data migration, cutover, and post-go-live activities.
• Ensure clear communication between project teams and business stakeholders.
• Manage changes to project scope, priorities, timelines, and deliverables.
• Follow established project management standards, SAP methodologies, and internal governance processes.
• Prepare regular project updates for senior management and project sponsors.

We are looking for 2 Senior Project Managers to lead SAP S/4HANA implementation and transformation projects for a global organization in the United States. This is a key opportunity for experienced SAP Project Managers who enjoy leading complex, cross-functional initiatives and driving projects from planning through successful go-live.

In this role, you will work closely with business leaders, IT teams, SAP specialists, and external partners, overseeing project scope, timelines, budgets, risks, governance, testing, deployment, and post-go-live activities. The ideal candidates will bring strong SAP S/4HANA project experience, excellent stakeholder management skills, and the ability to lead teams in a fast-paced, global environment.

Required Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience as a Senior Project Manager in SAP-related projects.
• Strong experience with SAP S/4HANA implementations, migrations, or transformation programs.
• Experience managing complex projects involving multiple teams and stakeholders.
• Good understanding of SAP project phases, including design, testing, deployment, and go-live.
• Strong planning, organization, communication, and reporting skills.
• Ability to manage priorities and make decisions in a fast-paced project environment.
• Experience working with business users, technical teams, SAP consultants, and external vendors.
• Fluent English, both written and spoken.
• Must be based in the United States or able to work legally in the US.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in a large international organization or consumer goods environment.
• Previous experience working with global, multinational companies.
• SAP certification or formal project management certification such as PMP, PRINCE2, or equivalent.
• Experience with global SAP rollouts, business process transformation, or ERP program management.
