Job summary

Tata Consultancy Services is seeking an experienced SAP S/4HANA Delivery Lead to own end-to-end implementation initiatives for a professional services client in the United States. You will oversee multi-module SAP engagements, drive executive-level governance, and coordinate global teams to ensure successful delivery.

The role emphasizes leadership in S/4HANA transformations, client workshops, and cross-functional collaboration across Finance, Sales, Procurement, and more.

Qualifications

• 15+ years of consulting/SAP delivery experience, with leadership in SAP S/4HANA transformations.
• Experience in S/4HANA implementation, system conversion, and landscape transformation.
• Proven ability to manage stakeholders and project teams; strong executive communication.

Responsibilities

• Own end-to-end delivery of SAP S/4HANA cloud/on-premise implementations for a professional services client.
• Lead client-facing workshops: requirements confirmation, fit-to-standard, and functional design validation.
• Guide cross-functional consultants to ensure architecture consistency and delivery across workstreams.
• Manage stakeholder alignment across business, technology, and third-party owners; drive governance and risk mitigation.
• Maintain transparent reporting (RAID, status, financials, deliverables) throughout the delivery lifecycle.
• Define deployment strategy, readiness assessments, cutover plans, and go-live support across geographies.

Preferred / Nice-to-Have

• SAP Activate certification and one or more SAP S/4HANA line-of-business certifications; up-to-date with SAP innovations.
• Ability to work effectively across multiple time zones with global teams

Exposure to professional services-specific SAP processes and cross-module integration (e.g., PS/SD/FI touchpoints)

Roles & Responsibilities

• Own end to end delivery of SAP S/4HANA Public and Private Cloud implementation for a professional services client
• Lead client-facing workshops such as requirements confirmation, fit to standard playback, and functional design validation
• Oversee and guide cross functional consultants (e.g., Finance, SD/PS, Solution Architecture) to ensure consistent architecture and delivery across workstreams.
• Manage stakeholder alignment across business, technology, and third party system owners; drive decisions and escape risks with documented governance.
• Maintain transparent reporting—RAID, status, financials, and deliverables—consistent with professional services delivery lifecycle expectations.
• Define and manage deployment strategy, readiness assessments, and cutover plans; lead stage gate reviews and ensure compliance with governance.
• Coordinate cutover across multiple workstreams/geographies; establish a go live command center and plan hypercare support.

Communicate deployment status, risks, and mitigation plans to senior stakeholders.

Salary Range: $180000 - $220000 a year
