Job summary

Ecovyst Inc. is seeking a Maintenance Planner for Ecoservices in Hammond, IN to manage the full maintenance work order lifecycle in SAP PM, from notification through planning, scheduling, execution, and closure, while coordinating with Operations, Maintenance, Engineering and contractors.

Qualifications

• 15+ years of maintenance planning, execution, coordination in chemical manufacturing or related environment.
• SAP PM expertise is a core requirement for this role.
• Ability to read P&IDs, equipment drawings, vendor manuals and technical documentation.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Excel and Office applications.

Responsibilities

• Manage complete maintenance work order lifecycle in SAP from notification through planning, scheduling, execution, and closure.
• Prioritize site backlog based on safety, reliability, environmental, and production impacts.
• Develop detailed maintenance job plans including labor, work instructions, materials, tools, and safety requirements.
• Coordinate scheduling with Operations and OMC to ensure equipment availability and production readiness.
• Procure parts, materials, rental equipment, and external services for planned maintenance.
• Track PM compliance and ensure all regulatory PMs are completed on time.
• Lead planning for plant outages and turnarounds including work package development and contractor coordination.
• Collaborate with Operations, Engineering, and contractors to improve maintenance efficiency and equipment performance.
