Job summary

AdvanSix is seeking a Maintenance Planner to coordinate and schedule maintenance across a plant area, ensuring timely outages and cost control. The role emphasizes SAP-PM-driven planning, vendor coordination, and adherence to safety standards in a fast-paced industrial setting.

Ideal candidates will have a mechanical engineering background (or equivalent) with Primavera expertise and a track record of improving maintenance processes and outcomes.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED with 5+ years in industrial manufacturing or
• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering with relevant experience.
• Experience using Primavera for scheduling and SAP-PM for maintenance planning.
• Strong communication and leadership skills.
• Proficiency in SAP-PM, Microsoft Office; knowledge of Lean/Six Sigma is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Plan and schedule maintenance activities for assigned area.
• Forecast and explain cost variance for outage work.
• Procure equipment, materials, and outside services.
• Manage repairs, purchases, invoices, and receipts for outages.
• Develop and update job plans and maintenance documentation.
• Coordinate with area coordinators and contractors.
• Ensure safety in work activities and improve processes.
