Job summary

Insight Global in Fremont is seeking a materials coordination specialist to ensure proper placement of parts for engineering and production teams. You will coordinate material movement, manage reservations, support shipments, and work heavily in SAP and Excel.

Collaboration with engineering, production, supply chain, and program teams is essential to succeed in this role. The ideal candidate has strong SAP experience, advanced Excel skills (VLOOKUPs and formulas), and comfort with SharePoint and

Qualifications

Experience using SAP.
Familiar with SAP transactions MD04, MB51, LS24, ME27, MB21, MB22, MB23.
Strong Excel skills (VLOOKUPs and formulas).
Comfortable navigating SharePoint.
Familiarity with creating PowerPoint presentations.
High School Diploma or above.

Responsibilities

Coordinate shipments of engineering-owned materials for new products.
Manage the Project Services Fremont mailbox.
Manage material reservations for inventory.
Coordinate movement and transfers of materials between locations and the production floor.
Work closely with Program/Product Management, Engineering, Production Control, and Supply Chain.
Provide ad hoc reporting to the Product Group.
Participate in cross-functional meetings and teams.
Communicate material or delivery issues that could impact build schedules.
Track and coordinate where materials need to go and when they are needed.
