Job summary

Pro Staff is seeking a detail-oriented supply chain professional in Maryland to develop material plans and coordinate material call-offs from approved suppliers using SAP MRP. You’ll support production and inventory goals while maintaining data accuracy and timely communication.

Key duties include monitoring material availability, managing a portfolio of SKUs, coordinating inbound material flow, and supporting supplier performance improvements.

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent required or in progress.
  • 2+ years of experience in operations, logistics, manufacturing support, or related field.
  • At least 1 year in supply chain, materials, or inventory management.
  • Experience with MRP and related planning systems.

Responsibilities

  • Develop material plans and coordinate material call-offs from approved suppliers and internal facilities using SAP MRP to support production requirements.
  • Monitor material availability and proactively identify shortages or non-conformance affecting production schedules.
  • Manage inventory for an assigned SKU portfolio balancing service, targets, and cost.
  • Monitor supplier performance and drive corrective actions for delivery, quality, and fulfillment issues.
  • Coordinate returns of non-conforming materials and maintain documentation.
  • Resolve discrepancies between ordered and delivered quantities and values with Accounts Payable.
  • Maintain records for efficient import of raw materials.
  • Support business reviews, project teams, and cross-functional supply chain initiatives.
  • Monitor slow-moving/obsolete inventory and develop corrective actions to minimize write-offs.
  • Manage plant receiving schedule and coordinate inbound material flow.
  • Utilize E2Open to support supplier collaboration and supply management.
  • Audit/maintain MRP master data and planning parameters to optimize lead times and service.
  • Follow health and safety policies.

What You’ll Do

  • Manage inventory for an assigned SKU portfolio while balancing customer service, inventory targets, and cost constraints.
  • Monitor supplier performance and drive corrective actions related to delivery, quality, and fulfillment issues.
  • Coordinate returns of non-conforming materials and maintain appropriate documentation.
  • Resolve discrepancies between ordered and delivered quantities and values while coordinating payment approvals with Accounts Payable.
  • Maintain documentation and records required for the efficient import of raw materials.
  • Support business reviews, project teams, and cross-functional supply chain initiatives.
  • Monitor slow-moving and obsolete inventory (SLOB) and develop corrective actions to minimize potential write-offs.
  • Manage the plant receiving schedule and coordinate inbound material flow.
  • Utilize E2Open to support supplier collaboration and supply management activities.
  • Audit and maintain MRP master data and planning parameters to optimize lead times, inventory levels, and service.
  • Follow all applicable health and safety policies and procedures.
What We’re Looking For
  • High school diploma or equivalent; enrollment in a college-level Business or related degree program preferred
  • 2+ years of experience in operations, logistics, manufacturing support, or a related field
  • At least 1 year of experience in supply chain, materials, or inventory management
  • Experience with Material Requirements Planning (MRP) and related planning systems
  • SAP and Microsoft Access experience is a plus
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Supply Chain, or a related field preferred
