Job summary

EY is seeking a Manager in Technology Analysis to lead SAP IS-U data-conversion workstreams within complex utility transformation programs. You will provide functional and delivery leadership from migration strategy through production cutover and stabilization, coordinating cross-functional teams and ensuring audit-ready evidence.

The role requires a bachelor’s degree and typically 4–6 years of SAP IS-U or Utilities experience, with 3+ years leading a workstream, and a willingness to travel

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required.
• Typically, 4–6 years of SAP IS-U or SAP Utilities experience with 3+ years in a leadership role.
• Proven ownership of functional solution design and delivery through implementation, testing, deployment, and stabilization.
• Experience coordinating cross-functional teams, managing dependencies and risks, and making decisions with business and technology stakeholders.
• Travel 40–60% to meet client needs.

Responsibilities

• Lead SAP IS-U data-conversion workstreams from migration strategy through production cutover and stabilization.
• Own data-conversion strategy, scope, governance, and readiness for SAP IS-U programs or releases.
• Define conversion waves, object sequencing, ownership, reconciliation controls, acceptance criteria, and decision gates.
• Lead source-system assessments and data-quality planning with business owners, establishing remediation ownership.
• Set the functional and technical approach for mapping, transformation, tooling, staging, and loads.
• Coordinate SAP functional leads, source-system teams, ETL developers, data stewards, and cutover leadership across meter-to-cash workstreams.
• Oversee mock loads, defect priorities, conversion metrics, control totals, and sign-off.
• Own cutover readiness, load sequencing, contingency planning, production execution, and post-load validation.
