Job summary

EY is seeking a Manager in Technology Analysis to lead SAP IS-U data-conversion workstreams within complex utility transformation programs. You will provide functional and delivery leadership from migration strategy through production cutover and stabilization, coordinating multiple teams and ensuring readiness.

The role requires 4–6 years of SAP IS-U or SAP Utilities experience, with at least 3 years in leading a workstream. Travel of 40–60% may be required, and a bachelor’s degree is mandatory.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required.
• Typically 4–6 years SAP IS-U or SAP Utilities experience including 3+ years leading a workstream or team.
• Proven ownership of functional solution design and delivery through implementation, testing, deployment, and stabilization.
• Experience leading cross-functional teams, managing dependencies and risks, and making decisions with business and technology stakeholders.
• Strong leadership, communication, planning, and stakeholder-management skills.

Responsibilities

• Own data-conversion strategy, scope, governance, delivery plans, and readiness for SAP IS-U programs or releases.
• Define conversion waves, object sequencing, ownership, reconciliation controls, acceptance criteria, and decision gates.
• Lead source-system assessments and data-quality planning with business owners; resolve migration-readiness gaps.
• Set functional and technical approach for mapping, transformation, tooling, staging, loads, and mock-conversion cycles.
• Coordinate SAP functional leads, source-system teams, ETL developers, data stewards, and cutover leadership across meter-to-cash workstreams.
• Govern mock loads, defect priorities, conversion metrics, control totals, and reconciliation; formal sign-off.
• Own cutover readiness, load sequencing, contingency planning, production execution, and post-load validation.
