Job summary

EY is seeking a Manager in Technology Analysis to lead SAP IS-U data-conversion workstreams within large utility transformation programs, delivering functional and delivery leadership from migration strategy through production cutover and stabilization.

You will own data-conversion strategy, waves, reconciliation, cutover readiness, and coordination across SAP functional leads, ETL teams and business owners, with travel up to 40-60%.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required.
• Typically 4–6 years SAP IS-U or SAP Utilities experience; 3+ years leading a workstream.
• Proven ownership of functional solution design and delivery through implementation and stabilization.
• Experience leading cross-functional teams and managing dependencies and risks.

Responsibilities

• Own data-conversion strategy, scope, governance, delivery plans, and readiness for SAP IS-U programs or releases.
• Define conversion waves, object sequencing, ownership, reconciliation controls, acceptance criteria, and decision gates.
• Lead source-system assessments and data-quality planning with business owners and remediation ownership.
• Set the functional and technical approach for mapping, transformation, tooling, staging, loads, and repeatable mock-conversion cycles.
• Coordinate SAP functional leads, source-system teams, ETL developers, data stewards, and cutover leadership across meter-to-cash workstreams.
• Govern mock loads, defect priorities, conversion metrics, control totals, reconciliation, and sign-off.
• Own cutover readiness, load sequencing, contingency planning, production execution, and post-load validation.
• Manage team capacity, risks, scope, estimates, and executive decisions with knowledge transfer and audit-ready evidence.
