Job summary

CFS is seeking an experienced SAP Functional Manager to lead delivery, production support, and continuous improvement in a complex SAP S/4HANA environment. This role combines hands-on configuration with strategic oversight across multiple modules.

You will manage internal teams and external partners, drive upgrades, testing, and change activities while ensuring governance, IT controls, and audit readiness align with business objectives.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of SAP experience with hands-on configuration and support.
• Experience with SAP S/4HANA environments, including at least one full lifecycle implementation.
• Deep expertise in SAP FI/CO and cross-functional processes.
• Experience with SAP Ariba and familiarity with SuccessFactors integrations.
• Proven ability to troubleshoot and resolve complex SAP functional issues within the platform.
• Leadership experience managing SAP analysts, consultants, offshore resources, and managed service partners.
• Familiarity with ITIL practices, operational metrics, and audit support activities.

Overview

The SAP functional leader will oversee application delivery, production support, and ongoing operational excellence within a complex SAP S/4HANA environment. This is a hands-on leadership role responsible for SAP configuration, issue resolution, release stabilization, and business process optimization across multiple functional areas. The position will lead internal teams and external partners while ensuring the SAP platform remains stable, scalable, and aligned with business objectives.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead SAP functional delivery across core S/4HANA modules including Finance (FI/CO), Supply Chain, Procurement, Manufacturing, and Fiori applications.
• Serve as the functional authority for solution design, configuration reviews, troubleshooting, and complex production support issues.
• Convert business requirements into scalable SAP solutions while promoting standard SAP functionality and clean-core best practices.
• Oversee functional integrations with SAP Ariba, SuccessFactors, and third-party business applications.
• Own SAP support operations, incident management, release readiness, hypercare activities, and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Establish and monitor operational metrics, SLAs, service performance, and ticket management processes utilizing tools such as ServiceNow or Jira.
• Act as the senior escalation point for critical production issues impacting business operations.
• Partner with business leaders, PMO teams, infrastructure groups, and technical counterparts to coordinate projects, upgrades, testing, and change management activities.
• Manage AMS providers and consulting partners, ensuring quality delivery, adherence to standards, and achievement of service commitments.
• Support SAP governance, audit readiness, ITGC/SOX compliance, user access reviews, and segregation-of-duties initiatives.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of SAP experience with strong hands-on configuration and operational support expertise.
• Experience supporting SAP S/4HANA environments, including at least one full lifecycle implementation.
• Deep expertise within SAP Finance (FI/CO) and solid knowledge of cross-functional business processes.
• Experience with SAP Ariba and familiarity supporting SuccessFactors integrations.
• Proven ability to troubleshoot, configure, and resolve complex SAP functional issues directly within the platform.
• Prior leadership experience managing SAP analysts, consultants, offshore resources, and managed service partners.
• Familiarity with ITIL practices, operational metrics, compliance controls, and audit support activities.
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills with the ability to operate across technical and business teams.
