Green Key Resources is seeking an experienced SAP Functional Architect to enhance its SAP S/4HANA Public Cloud environment. This role involves configuring finance solutions, partnering with business leaders, and solving complex challenges.

The ideal candidate will have 3–7 years of functional experience in SAP Finance and a strong understanding of core finance processes. This hybrid position is based in Washington, DC, requiring presence three days onsite.

The ideal candidate will serve as a trusted advisor to the business, leveraging deep SAP Finance expertise to deliver scalable solutions that support critical financial operations and organizational growth.

Key Responsibilities

• Configure, support, and optimize SAP S/4HANA Public Cloud Finance solutions.
• Partner with business leaders and end users to gather requirements and translate business needs into effective SAP functionality.
• Serve as the functional subject matter expert for finance‑related processes and system enhancements.
• Troubleshoot system issues, identify root causes, and implement sustainable solutions.
• General Ledger (GL)
• Accounts Payable (AP)
• Accounts Receivable (AR)
• Fixed Assets (FA)
• Financial Close and Reporting
• Perform Central Business Configuration (CBC) activities and support ongoing system improvements.
• Participate in testing, deployments, upgrades, and enhancement initiatives.
• Develop and maintain functional specifications, process documentation, and training materials.
• Provide user support, guidance, and knowledge transfer to business teams.
• Collaborate with internal stakeholders, implementation partners, and third‑party vendors to ensure successful project delivery.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, Business, Accounting, or a related field; equivalent experience will be considered.
• 3–7 years of SAP functional experience with a strong focus on SAP S/4HANA Finance.
• Hands‑on experience supporting SAP S/4HANA Public Cloud environments.
• Experience participating in at least one full lifecycle SAP S/4HANA Public Cloud implementation.
• Strong knowledge of core finance processes, including GL, AP, AR, Fixed Assets, and financial reporting.
• Experience with company code setup, organizational structures, and financial master data configuration.
• Excellent analytical, troubleshooting, and problem‑solving abilities.
• Ability to work independently while effectively managing multiple priorities.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with SAP Central Business Configuration (CBC).
• Knowledge of GAAP accounting principles, SOX compliance, and IT General Controls.
• Prior experience within highly regulated industries such as energy, utilities, manufacturing, or infrastructure.
• Strong communication skills with the ability to engage both technical and non‑technical stakeholders.
