Role Overview

Our goal is to provide clients with unique insights on leveraging SAP technology to enhance their operations, rooted in EY’s SAP service capabilities (Supply Chain, FICO, BPC, Data & Analytics, Customer, Tech/Arch, and SuccessFactors). We focus on improving client performance and productivity.

The Opportunity

We innovate with SAP to co-create innovative solutions, integrating our expertise in tax, assurance, transactions, risk, and SAP implementation. We assist clients from strategy to execution, delivering better outcomes and lasting results.

In this role, you will collaborate with key Finance stakeholders to understand their needs and advise on SAP Finance systems. You will lead sales efforts at major engagements, working closely with client stakeholders and EY SAP leaders.

Your Key Responsibilities

• Lead large-scale sales pursuits across sectors like Consumer Business, Manufacturing, Technology, or Industrial Products, primarily in Finance.
• Identify and generate new business opportunities by understanding EY’s service lines and assessing client needs. Collaborate across EY practices to serve clients effectively.
• Build and maintain long-term client relationships at all levels, including CXOs, to foster trust and collaboration.
• Use EY’s sales framework to proactively pursue SAP opportunities, incorporating creative solutions to meet client transformation needs.
• Manage engagement delivery and client relationships daily.
• Oversee program and project management, ensuring engagement economics are met.
• Develop resource plans and budgets for complex projects.

• Strong technical skills in application design and business requirements analysis.
• Ability to analyze and compare technology cost-benefit scenarios.
• Expertise in system configuration and business architecture frameworks.
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and influencing skills.
• Experience in managing teams and delivering quality client services.
• Participation in sales pursuits and business development activities.

Minimum Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree (Master’s preferred).
• 5-7+ years of sales/pursuits experience.
• At least 10+ years working with SAP S4HANA Finance modules.
• Proven leadership in at least two full-cycle SAP Finance implementations.
• Knowledge of SAP Accelerate methodology or similar.
• Strong communication and client service skills.
• Experience managing SAP projects and teams.
• Willingness to travel 60+%.

Preferred Qualifications

• Consulting experience with Big Four or SAP SI companies.
• SAP Certifications (e.g., C_TS4FI, C_TS4CO, E-S4CPE).
• Industry experience in Finance or Accounting.
