Accenture is hiring a senior SAP Finance leader to drive utilities-specific transformations in California. You will guide end-to-end finance solutions, focus on business-case development, roadmaps, and SAP-driven value delivery across complex client programs.

The role emphasizes global delivery, advisory experience, and deep SAP Finance expertise, with travel as needed to client sites and on-site collaboration with Accenture teams.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 6 years functional/technical experience in SAP Finance (GL, AR, AP, Asset, Product Costing, etc.)
• Minimum 4 years of experience in SAP projects supporting Utilities' clients
• Minimum 2 end-to-end SAP S/4 implementations for Utilities clients
• Experience driving complex workshops and design decisions in SAP Finance
• Experience managing SAP delivery teams in a Global Delivery model
• Prior experience in a Consulting/Advisory role
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent (min 12 years' work experience)

Responsibilities

• Engage with senior client Finance executives on the business challenges/trends and the potential value of SAP solutions (current & future)
• Lead customers in defining their SAP journey through development of business cases & roadmaps including during sales origination, proposal development and client presentations
• Architect e2e Finance solutions that leverage SAP technologies, custom apps, & add-on partner solutions
• Clearly explain SAP’s Business AI strategy and identify functional areas where AI can deliver value to clients
• Experience in deployment of AI use cases within SAP delivery to improve efficiency
• Advise, design and deliver Finance solutions based on best practices leveraging SAP solutions and embedded innovation
• Lead large project teams onsite with clients or within Accenture
• Become a trusted expert and stay current on regulations, trends, and innovations across your area of expertise
• Be a thought leader, build assets and best practices and develop the next level of transformation experts
