Job summary

The HT Group is seeking an experienced SAP FICO Functional Business Analyst to support Finance and Accounting in our SAP S/4HANA environment. This hybrid Austin role focuses on production support, functional configuration, testing and ongoing enhancements, translating business needs into SAP solutions and collaborating with ABAP developers as needed.

• Experience with SAP FICO functional configuration, troubleshooting, testing, and enhancements
• Strong understanding of Finance and Accounting processes, including month-end close
• Ability to gather business requirements and translate them into functional specifications and SAP solutions
• Experience supporting production issues and improving existing SAP functionality
• Ability to review or understand ABAP-related technical work and partner with developers; hands-on ABAP development is not required
• Strong communication skills and experience working directly with Finance and Accounting users
• Must be able to work onsite four days per week near downtown Austin
• Must be authorized to work in the United States without current or future employer sponsorship. No third-party agencies or C2C arrangements will be considered.

SAP FICO Functional Business Analyst

Our client is seeking an experienced SAP FICO Functional Business Analyst to support its Finance and Accounting teams within an established SAP S/4HANA environment. Because the system is already implemented, this role will focus on production support, functional configuration, troubleshooting, testing, and ongoing enhancements rather than a new implementation.

The SAP FICO Functional Business Analyst will work directly with Finance and Accounting users to understand business needs, translate requirements into SAP solutions, resolve system issues, support month-end close and day-to-day financial operations. This is primarily a functional role that requires enough technical knowledge to collaborate effectively with ABAP developers and other technical resources.

Key Qualifications:
