Job summary

New York Technology Partners is seeking an experienced SAP FICO Functional Consultant to join our client-facing team in the US. The role focuses on SAP Finance and Controlling, end-to-end implementations, and finance transformation initiatives.

The ideal candidate will have deep knowledge of S/4HANA Finance, FI-SD, FI-MM, CO-PA, Product Costing, and strong stakeholder engagement across business units.

Qualifications

• 8–12 years of SAP consulting experience with strong FICO expertise.
• At least 2 full lifecycle SAP implementations, preferably S/4HANA.
• Extensive FI-SD and FI-MM integration experience.
• Strong knowledge of AR, AP, GL, Asset Accounting, and Controlling.
• Experience with Product Costing, CO-PA, Cost Center and Profit Center Accounting.
• Experience with Automatic Payments, Electronic Bank Statements, and banking integrations.
• Knowledge of foreign currency valuation and translation.
• Understanding of tax processes and financial compliance.
• Experience preparing functional specs and working with dev teams.
• Strong analytical, communication, and stakeholder management skills.

• Assist with Local GAAP and regulatory compliance requirements.
• Perform troubleshooting, root cause analysis, and production support.
• Develop functional specifications, test scripts, and business process documentation.
• Support Unit Testing, SIT, Regression Testing, and UAT.
• Coordinate with offshore and cross-functional teams.
• Provide knowledge transfer, user training, and post-production support.
