Job summary

Gravity IT Resources is seeking a Senior Business Analyst with strong SAP S/4HANA Finance & Accounting (FI/CO) experience to support enterprise finance initiatives and system enhancements in a fast-paced environment.

This role will serve as a liaison between Finance/Accounting stakeholders and IT, helping drive project delivery, process improvements, testing efforts, and ongoing optimization of SAP financial systems.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of Business Analyst experience within enterprise environments.
• Strong SAP S/4HANA experience required.
• 3–5 years of hands-on experience supporting SAP FI/CO modules.
• Experience working directly with Finance and Accounting stakeholders.
• Strong understanding of finance and accounting business processes.
• Proven experience creating detailed business and technical documentation.
• Experience supporting UAT, QA coordination, and testing activities.
• Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Gather, analyze, organize, and document business and technical requirements for projects, enhancements, and operational initiatives.
• Partner closely with Finance and Accounting stakeholders to understand business processes and identify system improvement opportunities.
• Serve as the primary liaison between business users and technical/development teams.
• Support SAP S/4HANA Finance & Controlling (FI/CO) modules including:
• General Ledger (GL)
• Accounts Payable (AP)
• Accounts Receivable (AR)
• Fixed Assets (FA)
• Cost Center Accounting (CCA)
• Profit Center Accounting (PCA)
• Internal Orders
• Facilitate requirements gathering sessions, project meetings, status updates, and gap/impact analysis discussions.
• Create and maintain documentation including BRDs, process flows, user stories, use cases, functional specifications, and test plans.
• Define test scenarios and coordinate User Acceptance Testing (UAT) and QA activities.
• Support end-user training efforts, knowledge transfer, and change management initiatives.
• Assist with enhancement requests, production support, and post-go-live troubleshooting activities.
• Participate in vendor evaluations, proof-of-concept initiatives, RFPs, and RFQs as needed.
• Develop reporting insights and ad-hoc analysis utilizing SQL, SAP reporting tools, and related platforms.
• Collaborate cross-functionally to support enterprise finance system integrations and ongoing optimization initiatives.

Position Overview

We are seeking a Senior Business Analyst with strong SAP S/4HANA Finance & Accounting (FI/CO) experience to support enterprise finance initiatives and system enhancements within a collaborative, fast-paced environment. This individual will serve as a liaison between Finance/Accounting stakeholders and IT teams, helping drive successful project delivery, process improvements, testing efforts, and ongoing optimization of SAP financial systems.

The ideal candidate will possess strong business analysis experience, hands-on SAP Finance knowledge, and the ability to work effectively across both functional and technical teams.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with SAP Analytics Cloud (SAC Analytics and/or SAC Planning)
• 3+ years of project management or project coordination experience
• Experience supporting large-scale ERP implementations and systems integrations
• Exposure to Agile, Waterfall, or hybrid delivery methodologies
• Experience within large enterprise or manufacturing environments preferred
