Job summary

The Baer Group seeks an SAP Employee Central Payroll Lead for a 3‑month project in Philadelphia, PA. The role is hybrid with some travel to PA for milestones and go‑live, and requires strong US Payroll implementation experience.

Ideal candidates will have hands‑on SAP EC Payroll (ECP) experience, familiarity with SAP HCM on‑premise, and proven success delivering end‑to‑end payroll configurations, testing, and cutover activities. W2 alignment; C2C not permitted.

Qualifications

• Strong, proven experience with end‑to‑end US Payroll implementations.
• Hands‑on SAP SuccessFactors Employee Central Payroll (ECP) experience preferred.
• Strong SAP HCM on‑premise Payroll implementation experience will also be considered.
• Deep understanding of US Payroll processes, taxation, deductions, and compliance.
• Experience with payroll configuration, schemas, PCRs, wage types, and payroll processing.
• Proven experience with SIT, UAT, parallel payroll testing, reconciliation, and go‑live.
• Strong leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead US Payroll implementation activities and provide hands‑on functional expertise.
• Drive payroll requirements gathering, solution design, and configuration.
• Support payroll testing, parallel runs, reconciliation, and issue resolution.
• Coordinate with HR, Payroll, and SAP technical teams.
• Support cutover, deployment readiness, and go‑live activities.
• Provide onsite project support in Pennsylvania as required.
