Job summary

RPM SPG in Vernon Hills, IL seeks an Order and Data Entry Rep to accurately review, verify and enter customer and sales orders into the SAP system in a timely manner, ensuring data integrity and on-time deliveries.

Requirements include 10-key by touch, prior order-entry or customer service experience, and basic Excel/Word skills; SAP is a plus. The position offers a Monday–Friday schedule with competitive hourly pay and robust benefits.

Qualifications

• 10-Key by touch and prior order-entry experience.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to prioritize workload.
• Effective written and verbal communication; a team player.
• SAP experience is a plus; familiarity with ERP systems.

Responsibilities

• Identify customer account number before entering purchase orders.
• Enter manual orders into SAP within 24 hours of receipt.
• Respond to requests and resolve order discrepancies.
• Provide pricing or documents for corrections.
• Note corrections clearly in order and coordinate with pricing/CS.
• Verify customer name, address, and billing info.
• Verify product numbers and specs for orders.
• Check inventory records for availability.
• Review orders for completeness and forward incomplete orders.
• Receive and respond to customer complaints.
