Ideal Candidate:

The ideal candidate is a hands-on SAP Developer who can function effectively as an O&M support resource while also stepping into development \"surge\" assignments when needed. Candidates should be comfortable troubleshooting existing SAP applications, developing new functionality, and rapidly adapting to changing technical priorities.

US Citizens only. Aerospace & Defense experience is highly preferred.

Position Overview:

Seeking an experienced SAP Developer for a long-term contract supporting Operations & Maintenance (O&M) and surge development activities within a complex SAP environment.

This role will support ongoing production operations, application enhancements, defect resolution, troubleshooting, and development efforts as priorities arise. The ideal candidate will be a hands-on SAP developer who can quickly troubleshoot complex issues and transition between production support, maintenance, enhancements, and new development assignments.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide hands-on SAP development and O&M support for enterprise applications.
• Analyze, troubleshoot, and resolve SAP application defects and production issues.
• Develop, modify, test, and deploy SAP programs and enhancements.
• Support application maintenance, enhancements, interfaces, integrations, and technical documentation.
• Participate in requirements analysis, technical design, coding, testing, debugging, and implementation.
• Respond quickly to surge development requirements and changing project priorities.
• Collaborate with functional analysts, business stakeholders, architects, and other technical teams.
• Investigate root causes of application issues and implement sustainable solutions.
• Support SAP releases, upgrades, patches, and other lifecycle activities as required.
• Follow established development, testing, security, change-management, and configuration-management processes.

Required Qualifications

• US Citizenship is required.
• Strong professional experience as an SAP Developer.
• Hands-on experience with SAP ABAP development.
• Experience supporting SAP applications in an O&M / production support environment.
• Strong troubleshooting and debugging skills.
• Experience developing enhancements, reports, interfaces, forms, and/or integrations.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience with SAP Fiori/UI5, OData, CDS Views, or RAP.
• Experience with SAP integration technologies and enterprise interfaces.
• SAP performance tuning and application optimization experience.
• Aerospace & Defense industry experience.
• Experience supporting large, complex SAP environments.
• Experience working in environments requiring strong configuration management, documentation, and change-control practices.
