Job summary

Northrop Grumman Defense Systems is seeking a Sr Staff Manufacturing Systems Engineer for a role located in Roy, UT. The position requires deep expertise in manufacturing systems, ERP/MES/PLM tools, and leading cross-functional teams to optimize production schedules across multiple programs.

The candidate will develop cost/risk analyses for leadership, deploy new digital tools, and ensure successful execution of manufacturing activities with strong communication and organizational skills.

Qualifications

14+ years of relevant experience with a B.S. in STEM.
Must be a U.S. citizen with an interim Secret clearance pre-start.
Strong experience using software for manufacturing (ERP, MES, PLM/PDM).
4+ years of experience leading teams for software or process solutions.
4+ years developing proposals for executive leadership and calculating ROI.
Expert level skills in system architecture development.
Experience deploying new digital tools and technologies.
Experience leading cross-functional teams.
Excellent written and oral communication skills.
Flexible work schedule to support out of service system testing.

Responsibilities

Develops cost/risk summaries and recommendations for leadership.
Engage and collaborate with programs and functional organizations to interpret requirements.
Proven ability to combine material flow management with information knowledge and financials.
Lead production scheduling for an entire factory servicing multiple businesses.
Document, track, and monitor problems to ensure timely resolution.
