Northrop Grumman in Huntsville, AL, is seeking a Staff Manufacturing Systems Engineer to lead manufacturing engineering efforts across ERP/MES/PLM tools including SAP, CPLM and SmartMES. The role emphasizes data-driven scheduling, cost/risk analyses, and cross-functional collaboration to optimize production flows for complex programs.

The ideal candidate has deep experience in MBOM/OBOM, manufacturing planning, and a strong foundation in manufacturing engineering with a proven ability to deliver

Qualifications

Experience in MBOM/OBOM and Work Instructions.
Strong foundation in Manufacturing Engineering fundamentals.
Experience using ERP/MES/PLM software for manufacturing.

Responsibilities

Lead production operation systems and technology initiatives.
Provide SME support for SAP, CPLM, and SmartMES in manufacturing.
Develop cost/risk benefit analyses and recommendations for leadership.
Collaborate with programs and functional teams to meet manufacturing requirements.
Document, track, and resolve production scheduling and process issues.
