Job summary

EY is seeking an SAP ABAP Manager to lead delivery across SAP ABAP projects within our Agile Business Transformation practice. You’ll translate client requirements into scalable ABAP-based solutions, guide design, build, test and deployment, and collaborate with architects, functional leads and external clients.

Located anywhere in the US, this role requires strong leadership, communication, and a willingness to travel 40–60% as client engagements demand.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required with 4–6 years hands-on SAP ABAP development.
• Strong ABAP skills including OO ABAP, modularization, debugging.
• Experience designing, developing, and enhancing ABAP-based reports, interfaces, and services.
• Familiarity with SAP S/4HANA, ECC, ABAP on HANA, and Fiori/UI5.
• Experience in Agile delivery and DevOps practices in SAP environments.
• Excellent communication and ability to work with client stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Lead SAP ABAP delivery across full project lifecycles from design to deployment.
• Translate client requirements into scalable technical solutions.
• Coordinate with architects, functional leads, and clients to drive SAP solutions.
• Provide direction to team members and ensure quality and timely delivery.
• Interact with external clients and manage workstreams; travel 40–60%.
