Job summary

AdventHealth in Orlando, FL is seeking a PRN food service associate to operate, clean, and sanitize dish machines and related equipment in a safe, compliant environment. You will unload and store stock, maintain cleanliness across production areas, and support safety and continuous improvement efforts.

• Operate, clean, and sanitize heavy-duty dish machines and sinks per FDA Food Code and HACCP.
• Handle, store, and unload food production stock; manage trash and recycling.
• Maintain cleanliness across production zones, dish rooms, and loading docks.
• Report equipment or process issues to supervisors; support safety initiatives.

Job Description:

Operate, clean, and sanitize industrial dish machines, three-compartment sinks, and other heavy-duty equipment in compliance with FDA Food Code and HACCP standards. Use industrial-strength chemicals, cleaning supplies, and equipment safely and effectively, following all instructions and maintaining up-to-date knowledge of proper handling procedures. Maintain cleanliness and organization across all assigned areas—including production zones, dish rooms, storage areas, and loading docks—ensuring a safe and sanitary environment. Unload, inspect, and store food production stock orders; manage trash and recycling removal efficiently, ensuring proper sorting and secure handling. Communicate equipment or process issues promptly to supervisors, support team productivity, and contribute to continuous improvement and safety initiatives. Other duties as assigned.
