Job summary

AdventHealth in Orlando, Florida, is hiring a full-time culinary associate to prepare patient, retail, and catering meals by following production records, including short-order and batch cooking, while maintaining quality and temperature standards.

You will manage prep, inventory, and sanitation in a high-volume hospital kitchen, coordinate with managers and team members to meet service goals, and rotate stock to minimize waste; prior institutional cooking experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• English communication required.
• Ability to read and write recipes as needed.
• Bilingual in Spanish preferred.
• Physical ability to perform designated job.

Responsibilities

• Prepare patient, retail, and catering meals by following culinary production records.
• Execute advance prep tasks by reviewing pull sheets and organizing ingredients.
• Maintain a clean and sanitary kitchen environment and record temperatures per regulations.
• Manage inventory by sorting, labeling, dating, and rotating stock to minimize waste.
• Collaborate with managers and team members to meet operational goals and support food service delivery.
• Other duties as assigned.

Collaborate with managers and team members to meet operational goals, communicate needs, and support efficient food service delivery. Other duties as assigned.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
