Job summary

AdventHealth in Orlando is seeking a part-time Food Service Worker to assemble meals for patients and staff in a hospital setting. You will follow standardized recipes and safety standards to ensure quality and patient nourishment.

You will stock pantries, monitor temperatures, serve meals on tray lines, and maintain clean workstations. Strong English communication, customer service, and ability to work in a fast-paced environment are required.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and assemble hot and cold food items, including beverages, following standardized recipes and production requirements to ensure quality and consistency.
• Stock, rotate, and sanitize nursing pantries and bulk nourishments, maintaining accurate inventory records and billing documentation.
• Serve meals on tray lines, record food temperatures, and deliver trays to patients using proper identification protocols and isolation procedures.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of workstations, floors, and equipment, using cleaning chemicals safely and effectively according to required concentrations.
• Operate dishroom equipment and café registers, process transactions accurately, and monitor sanitation logs and temperature records, taking corrective actions as needed.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
