Rise Baking Company in York, PA is hiring a sanitation worker to support the food safety program by cleaning plant equipment and facilities in compliance with FDA and OSHA guidelines.

You will perform wash duties, assist with equipment disassembly, and maintain clean work areas across the facility while following SSOPs. Strong attention to detail and the ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment are essential.

Formación

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Minimum 1 year cleaning in kitchen or 1 year in a food plant sanitation.
• Knowledge of pre-rinse/wash/rinse/sanitize steps.
• Knowledge of top-down washing sequence for food safety.
• Basic knowledge of sanitation chemicals.
• Basic knowledge of lockout/tagout and bloodborne pathogens.

Responsabilidades

• Perform basic wash area duties and equipment cleaning.
• Disassemble/start up for cleaning of equipment and piping.
• Conduct janitorial tasks across facility including production area.
• Complete cleaning per SSOPs and identify deep cleaning needs.
• Use chemicals safely and report safety or quality concerns.
• Work independently and in a team in a fast-paced environment.
