Job summary

Pilgrim’s is seeking a sanitation team member to clean and sanitize production areas, equipment, and facilities to meet USDA and company standards. You will follow detailed SOPs, apply cleaning chemicals safely, and report any hazards promptly, contributing to a safe, efficient, and compliant plant environment.

This fast-paced role requires reliability, attention to detail, and teamwork. The base hourly rate starts at $20.35 with a $1 shift differential for 2nd shift, and includes standard

Qualifications

• Education: High School Diploma/GED preferred.
• Experience: Poultry, food industry, or manufacturing experience is a plus.
• Skills: Ability to multitask, communicate, follow instructions, and maintain safety.

Responsibilities

• Clean and sanitize production equipment, tools, and work areas according to standards.
• Prepare, mix, and safely apply cleaning chemicals following PPE and safety rules.
• Inspect equipment and areas after sanitation and report issues or hazards.
• Maintain an organized, safe work environment and proper storage of tools and chemicals.
• Collaborate with team members to complete sanitation tasks efficiently and support safety.
