Job summary

Pilgrim’s is seeking a Sanitation Worker in Texas to maintain cleanliness and food safety across poultry processing operations. You’ll clean and sanitize equipment, production areas, and facilities, following USDA and company procedures with a focus on safety and accuracy.

The role requires reliability, attention to detail, and teamwork. Pay is $17.71 per hour with shift differential, in a fast-paced environment that values safety and ongoing learning.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED preferred.
• Poultry, food industry, or manufacturing experience is a plus.
• Able to work in a refrigerated environment (10°F to 40°F) and lift up to 40 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Clean and sanitize production equipment and areas per USDA and company standards.
• Prepare, mix, and apply cleaning chemicals with PPE.
• Inspect equipment and areas after sanitation and report issues.
• Maintain an organized, safe work environment and proper storage of tools and chemicals.
• Collaborate with team to complete sanitation tasks efficiently and safely.
• Follow SOPs and all safety, food safety, and biosecurity guidelines.
• Perform additional sanitation duties as needed to support production readiness.
