Job summary

Pilgrim’s is seeking a sanitation hourly team member to clean and sanitize equipment and production areas across our poultry processing operations. You will follow USDA and company sanitation standards, use cleaning chemicals safely, and help maintain a clean, safe environment for colleagues.

The role requires attention to detail, reliability, and teamwork in a fast-paced setting, with benefits and a shift structure that supports safety and production needs.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED preferred.
• Poultry, food industry, or manufacturing experience is a plus.
• Ability to multitask and work quickly in a fast-paced environment, with good communication and attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Clean and sanitize production equipment, tools, and work areas according to standards.
• Prepare, mix, and safely apply cleaning chemicals following PPE and safety requirements.
• Inspect equipment and areas after sanitation and report issues promptly.
• Maintain an organized, safe work environment by proper storage of tools and chemicals.
• Collaborate with team members to complete sanitation tasks efficiently and safely.
• Follow SOPs, safety, food safety, and biosecurity guidelines.
• Perform additional sanitation duties as needed to support production readiness.
