Job summary

Reser’s is seeking a sanitation worker to ensure production machines, parts, and areas are cleaned and sanitized in a food plant environment. This role emphasizes safety practices, adherence to LOTO, chemical labeling, and teamwork to maintain clean facilities and compliant equipment.

The position requires the ability to read, write, and understand English, basic arithmetic, and a willingness to work varied shifts including nights and weekends.

Qualifications

• High school education or equivalent preferred.
• OSHA knowledge preferred.
• Experience as sanitation worker in a food plant preferred.
• Spanish speaking preferred.
• Ability to read, write, and understand English preferred.
• Basic arithmetic skills required.

Responsibilities

• Follow safe chemical handling procedures.
• Follow LOTO program.
• Follow chemical labeling guidelines.
• Safely clean the production facility and equipment.
• Be willing to help co-workers and support a team environment.
• Prepare assigned area for sanitation readiness.
• Dismantle, clean and reassemble production equipment as needed per SSOP.
• Identify and report equipment opportunities; reassemble and test machines.
