Job summary

Reser’s in Memphis, TN is seeking a sanitation worker to clean and sanitize production areas and equipment in a refrigerated food plant. You will follow chemical handling and LOTO procedures, assist teammates, and verify readiness for production after sanitation.

Prior sanitation experience, ability to read English, OSHA awareness, and willingness to work varied shifts (including nights) are preferred. Bilingual abilities are a plus.

Qualifications

• Experience as a sanitation worker in a food plant environment is preferred.
• Ability to read, write, and understand English is preferred.
• OSHA knowledge is preferred.
• Work various shifts, including night shift, with some weekend work as required.
• Spanish Speaking is preferred.
• Basic arithmetic skills.

Responsibilities

• Follow safe chemical handling procedures.
• Follow LOTO program.
• Follow chemical labeling guidelines.
• Safely clean the production facility and equipment.
• Support co-workers and maintain a Team Member environment.
• Verify area is ready for Sanitation and production start after sanitation.
• Dismantle, clean and reassemble production equipment as needed per SSOP.
• Identify and report equipment opportunities and test machinery after cleaning.
• Inspect equipment after cleaning and ensure readiness for production.
