Job summary

Stahl-Meyer Foods, Inc. is seeking a sanitation technician for two shifts: 7am–5:30 pm and 2:30 pm–Midnight.

You will work under the Sanitation Manager to determine department cleaning, ensure lockout/tagout, wear PPE, dismantle equipment as needed, and sanitize production areas. Responsibilities include cleaning floors and walls, disposing of residue per safety procedures, notifying the Manager when cleaning is complete, maintaining equipment, and supporting other duties as required.

Responsibilities

• Determine department and machinery to be cleaned with Sanitation Manager.
• Ensure machinery to be cleaned is in lockout/tagout mode.
• Wear PPE such as gloves and eye protection as needed.
• Remove parts and dismantle equipment for cleaning.
• Clean floors, walls, and apparatus to sanitize production areas.
• Dispose of cleanup residue per plant safety procedures.
• Notify Manager upon completion to restart machines.
• Maintain cleaning equipment in working condition.
• Other duties may be assigned to meet business needs.
