Job summary

Wayne-Sanderson Farms is seeking a sanitation worker to clean and maintain assigned areas and assist with setup across lines. You will handle cleaning solutions and chemicals under supervision, ensuring machinery is ready for production and that all safety procedures are followed.

The role requires working nights, weekends, and extended hours, with a strong emphasis on teamwork, reliability, and adherence to SOPs.

Qualifications

• Requires ability to work unsupervised and self-motivate.
• Willing to work nights, weekends, holidays and extended shift hours.
• Able to cooperate with supervisors and coworkers.
• Solid work ethic and integrity.
• Basic understanding of machinery tear down and setup.
• Clean up (parts) experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Use chemicals to clean and sanitize all machinery and areas assigned to.
• Tear down machinery at the beginning of cleanup shift.
• Help setup before production starts in the morning.
• Perform other duties assigned by supervisor, area leader and Sanitation Manager.
• Do all tasks assigned by members of management.
• Follow directions and work in other departments as needed.
• Perform additional duties as assigned.
