Job summary

Lassonde Pappas & Co., Inc in Hendersonville, NC is seeking a Sanitation Technician I on the 2nd shift (2:00 PM to 10:30 PM). The role reports to the Sanitation Supervisor and focuses on sanitation, food safety, and quality procedures to maintain a safe, efficient plant environment.

Responsibilities include daily to monthly sanitation tasks, following safety guidelines, supporting production CIP, maintaining documents, handling cleaning chemicals, operating PIT and cleaning equipment, and test

Qualifications

• Must successfully complete and maintain the Lassonde Pappas Forklift Certification.
• Ability to Read and Write.
• Work in a safe manner following all PPE requirements.

Responsibilities

• Performs daily, weekly, and monthly sanitation tasks (Master Cleaning Schedule).
• Follow all sanitation safety and food safety guidelines.
• Support Production CIP's.
• Complete all associated documents related to task per facility document requirements.
• Work with chemicals to complete cleaning.
• Operate PIT equipment.
• Operate Cleaning equipment.
• This role will be required to taste test products as needed, up to a couple of ounces per test.
