Job summary

Atwork is seeking a Production Sanitation Technician for our Hendersonville, NC beverage production team. You will be responsible for facility cleanliness, equipment sanitation, and supporting QA functions on a fast-paced line.

The shift is 6:00 am to 2:30 pm, with a paid rate of $21 per hour. Candidates should have a high school diploma and some manufacturing experience; forklift experience is a plus and GMP exposure is preferred.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• 3+ months of manufacturing experience.
• Forklift experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Sanitation: Clean and sanitize production equipment, floors, and drains per SSOPs.
• Perform CIP cleaning, ATP swab testing, and week-ending cleanings.
• Manage chemical inventory, storage, and labeling.
• Maintain restrooms and facility dispensers; remove trash and recycling.
• Keep accurate cleaning records and assist in training new employees.
• Test and log incoming concentrates and pull product samples.
• Conduct juice/concentrate tests (pH, °Brix, vitamin C, etc.).
• Use sensory analysis to verify product quality.
• Support QA line techs and assist with USDA, HACCP, and SQF documentation.
• Report quality, safety, or sanitation concerns.

RESPONSIBILITIES

QUALIFICATIONS

• Required: High school diploma, 3+ months manufacturing experience, forklift experience.
• Ability to work independently.
• Preferred: Food/beverage or GMP experience, familiarity with industrial chemicals and CIP processes, strong communication skills.
