Job summary

Lassonde Pappas & Co., Inc in Hendersonville, NC is hiring a Sanitation Technician I for the 2nd shift (2pm to 10:30 pm). You will perform sanitation tasks and support food safety and quality procedures in a fast-paced plant, ensuring compliance with OSHA, FDA, EPA, SQF and GMP standards.

The role requires Lassonde Pappas forklift certification, the ability to read and write, and safe work practices with PPE.

Qualifications

• Must successfully complete and maintain the Lassonde Pappas Forklift Certification.
• Ability to Read and Write.
• Work in a safe manner following all PPE requirements.

Responsibilities

• Performs daily, weekly, and monthly sanitation tasks (Master Cleaning Schedule)
• Follow all sanitation safety and food safety guidelines
• Support Production CIPs
• Complete all associated documents related to task per facility document requirements
• Work with chemicals to complete cleaning
• Operate PIT equipment
• Operate Cleaning equipment
• Taste test products as needed, up to a couple of ounces per test.
