Job summary

Nature's Path Foods is seeking a Sanitation Technician for our Blaine, WA facility. This hands-on role focuses on keeping the facility clean, audit-ready, and compliant with GMPs and SSOPs.

The position offers a 4 on / 4 off schedule from 6:00 AM to 6:30 PM, with a wage ranging from $21.06 to $22.67 per hour and a $1.50 per hour shift differential for nights. New employees may receive a $1,000 sign-on bonus and benefits including medical, vision and dental plans, a 401(k) with company match, and

Qualifications

• Must be willing to obtain scissor lift and boom lift certifications.
• Basic math and computer skills are required.
• Clear verbal and written English communication.
• Team-oriented with attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Follow GMPs, SSOPs and sanitation procedures to ensure food safety and compliance.
• Clean and sanitize plant equipment and production areas.
• Support production teams to minimize downtime.
• Monitor wastewater and support reduction initiatives.
• Perform pest management tasks as part of the Pest Management Action Plan.
• Participate in internal audits and continuous improvement activities.
• Handle waste and recycling streams.
• Operate scissor lifts and boom lifts (certification required; up to 30 ft).

Our Sanitation Techs are a cornerstone to our success as a plant--both to ensure a safe & clean facility, but also for the advancement of our processes and pushing benchmarks for our Master Sanitation schedule. While this role requires basic cleaning procedures and common plant auditing, ideal candidates will succeed on our team if they enjoy variety and are driven by a sense of accomplishment. We are also looking for team members who bring an open mind for learning and continuous improvement.

Must be willing to be boom lift/manlift certified, heights up to 30ft.

Location: Manufacturing Facility, Blaine, WA

Shift: 4 on / 4 off, 6:00 AM – 6:30 PM

Wage: $21.06–$22.67/hour + $1.50/hour shift differential (6 PM–6 AM)

Bonus: $1,000 sign-on bonus (new employees only)

What You'll Do

• Follow GMPs, SSOPs, and sanitation procedures to ensure food safety and compliance.
• Clean and sanitize plant equipment and production areas.

• Monitor wastewater production and support reduction initiatives.
• Execute pest management tasks as part of the Pest Management Action Plan.
• Participate in internal audits and continuous improvement activities.
• Handle cardboard, trash, plastic, and wastewater removal.
• Operate scissor lifts and boom lifts (certification required; up to 30 ft).

What You Bring

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Willingness and ability to become certified on scissor lifts and boom trucks.
• Basic math and computer skills.
• Ability to communicate clearly in English (verbal and written).
• Team-oriented mindset with a strong attention to detail.
