What You Will Do

This position oversees daily sanitation operations, ensuring plant cleanliness and sanitation to produce safe, quality food. It involves directing sanitation staff across all shifts.

• Perform all duties safely, following federal, state, and company regulations
• Ensure sanitation effectiveness, maintain cleanliness standards, and manage the sanitation team
• Sign off on sanitation schedules and maintain equipment cleaning records
• Update SSOPs and complete annual performance evaluations
• Manage safety programs, training, inventory, and budget compliance
• Coordinate with chemical suppliers and third-party custodial services
• Communicate effectively with other departments and ensure compliance with food safety standards
• Complete work orders and report safety or quality concerns
• Meet attendance requirements and perform other duties as assigned

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED
• 5 years of manufacturing sanitation experience
• Knowledge of HACCP, GMPs, CIP, and sanitation practices
• Proficient with MS Office and able to interpret safety and maintenance documents
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
