Job summary

Pilgrim’s is seeking a sanitation associate in Minnesota to maintain cleanliness, safety, and food quality in our poultry processing operations. This hourly role focuses on cleaning equipment, production areas, and facilities in a fast-paced environment.

You’ll follow USDA and company sanitation procedures, use cleaning chemicals with proper PPE, and collaborate with teammates to meet daily sanitation and production readiness goals.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED preferred.
• Sanitation experience preferred; experience with chemicals is a plus.
• Ability to work in a refrigerated environment and lift up to 40 lbs.
• Strong attention to detail and teamwork.

Responsibilities

• Clean and sanitize production equipment, tools, and work areas according to USDA, food safety, and company sanitation standards.
• Prepare, mix, and safely apply cleaning chemicals with PPE and safety requirements.
• Inspect equipment and areas after sanitation and report issues or hazards promptly.
• Maintain an organized, safe work environment by removing debris and storing tools/chemicals properly.
• Work collaboratively with team members to complete sanitation tasks efficiently and support a safety-focused environment.
• Follow SOPs and all safety, food safety, and biosecurity guidelines.
• Perform additional sanitation duties as needed to support production readiness.
