Qualifications

• Poultry, food industry, or manufacturing experience is a plus.
• Ability to work in a refrigerated environment (10°F to 40°F).
• Must be able to lift 40 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Clean and sanitize production equipment, tools, and work areas according to USDA and company standards.
• Prepare, mix, and apply cleaning chemicals with appropriate PPE.
• Inspect equipment and areas after sanitation and report issues promptly.
• Maintain an organized, safe work environment and proper storage of tools and chemicals.
• Collaborate with team members to complete sanitation tasks efficiently.
• Follow SOPs and all safety, food safety, and biosecurity guidelines.
• Perform additional sanitation duties as needed to support production readiness.
• Other duties as assigned.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities

• Clean and sanitize production equipment, tools, and work areas according to USDA, food safety, and company sanitation standards.
• Prepare, mix, and safely apply cleaning chemicals while following all PPE and safety requirements.
• Inspect equipment and areas after sanitation to ensure proper cleanliness and report any issues or hazards promptly.
• Maintain an organized, safe work environment by removing debris, rinsing surfaces, and ensuring proper storage of tools and chemicals.
• Work collaboratively with team members to complete sanitation tasks efficiently and support a positive, safety‑focused environment.
• Follow detailed sanitation procedures, standard operating procedures (SOPs), and all safety, food safety, and biosecurity guidelines.
• Perform additional sanitation duties as needed to support production readiness and meet operational goals.
• Other duties as assigned.

What You’ll Need

• Education: High School Diploma/GED preferred.
• Experience: Poultry, food industry, or manufacturing experience is a plus.
• Skills: Ability to multitask and work quickly in a fast‑paced environment, have good communication skills, ability to comprehend instructions and apply common sense, have strong attention to detail, and must be a team playe r.
• Physical requirements: Ability to work in a refrigerated environment with temperatures ranging from 10°F to 40°F, s tanding for extended periods of time, and able to lift 40 lbs.
